Internet problem

I just bought a new Dell XPS 400, and it works great except one thing.  The internet just doesn't seem to want to work.  The first 2 days i had it, there weren't any problems, but when i turned it on the third day, it just didn't want to load anything.  And it wasn't giving me any sort of error message or page could not be found message, it just would say "done" and would be a blank white window.  I know the connection is good, because it works fine on my laptop.  If anybody can help me, it would be tremendously appreciated.

To add to a recent post, simply click on it, pick Message Options, then Edit.

    Check your firewall settings.

I am also having that same problem. I bought an dell xps 600 few weeks ago. The internet explore had been working fine. For the last 4 days the internet explore would load but not the page and if I try to click on tools wont even let me change any thing. So I thought I would hit refresh and then told me could not find page. The main home page is google. So I thought to see if i can click on tools and it worked. But i can not go to any webpages or any thing. Not sure what the problem is would realy like to get it fixed though. Any help?

    To OB,

In Network Connections, did you check the "Status" of your connection ? Click on "Repair" if necessary.

Did you add any software ?

Did you change your home page and test ?

Did you try System Restore ?

Are you running just with the XP firewall or 3rd-party like McAfee ?

    Turn off pop-up blocking.
