I downloaded a television program viewer called 'iplayer' from the BBC's website. It worked very well but I found that it used PtoP software developed by the Kontiki company. I became alarmed at its way of working and also by the huge amounts of data being transferred. I deleted it using the Windows 'Add & Remove Programs' tool and all seemed well.

However, a search for 'Kontiki', 'KService', and 'KHost' using Windows explorer revealed the following entries:

- Kontiki    C:\Documents & Settings\All Users|Kontiki                 [empty]

               C:\Program Files\Kontiki                                          [empty]

- KService C:\Windows\prefetch                                              KService.exe-3001F840.pf

- KHost     C:\Windows\prefetch                                              KHost.exe-3A6AA8C4.pf

My question is - I'm a non technical person - are these entries just the remnants of a badly written removal routine or might they cause me problems.
