I recently had to re-install everything on my computer.
So when I re-installed Microsoft Plus! DME, it no longer allows me to activate the product, with the provided key from Dell. How would I go about getting a new product key for my Plus! DME?
I am having a similar problem. I just got the computer, and Microsoft Plus Digital Media Edition was already loaded. I was prompted to run the setup files, which I did. However, when I tried to use one of the features, I was told I needed to purchase a product key. Either Dell installed this software as a "teaser" for which I must now spend more money, or the software was included in the price but Dell forgot to give me the product key (you don't get any software CD's when you buy the computer!). I'm not sure which, but it's pretty frustrating. If I was supposed to pay later, why take up space on my hard drive by prompting me to install the components and THEN trying to charge me for the software?
Well, in my case I got the CD for it with my computer from Dell,
but due to having to reinstall everything on my computer due to a problem,
it no longers accepts my activation code. I only activated the program once ...
So can't understand why it doesn't like the code ... it's the same machine that I'm installing it on ... and there's been no change in the hardware of the computer.
