I have a brand new dell XPS 8700 With windows 8.1 I have downloaded a windows 8 compatible program and installed it. We starting it up I get the following error message Run-time error '339': Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies in not correctly registered: a file is missing. my research so far is pointing this to a windows issues but a cannot find anything on how to resolve
I was also facing a similar problem related to the MSCOMCNTL.OCX library. The reference to the same was missing when using MS access 2010 with windows 8. I solved the problem by doing the exercise as mentioned in the below article, and it fix my problem. Hope it may help you also.
If your computer wanted be wrong and not working properly showing the mscomctl.ocx error on computer screen this will be correct shortly without taking so much time and giving the idea in less time
