Missing XP Disk

We are going to have to reformat the hd on our Inspiron 2650. We cannot find the XP disk. Are there any alternatives? What do I need to do? Thanks in advance!

    You need the Windows XP reinstallation CD in order to reformat and reinstall Windows.  If you did not get one with your computer and it is relatively new, you will have to call Dell Tech Support and have them send you one.

    You were right! After holding fof over an hour last night, the tech told my daughter that they would ship a replacement in 2 business days! Thanks for your help!
