I have been trying to help a friend who purchased a new dell computer.  he uses outlook express, but the new computer had wordperfect and spellcheck was not available.  I loaded office 2003 and he couldn't access outlook express at all (hung up trying to open).  I uninstalled that and installed Word 97.  Now spellcheck is available but when you try to use it, it gives the response that spellcheck encountered an error.  I would appreciate any input.  Thanks very much.
