so far no luck. should i just uninstall roxio and install a different driver? if so can u give me a link please. i only use my comp for gaming and obviously i cant game without sound, so this is very frustrating.
i found a solution on my own. i updated my driver software and now it works, if u dont know how click start>control panel>hardware and sound>device manager>sound video and game controllers then right click on your sound card and choose update driver software>search automatically. that did it for me
I am having a similar problem. I can boot up and the sound will be on for a while then just goes away. I have installed the patch and go sound at least some of the time but a problem when it is not there all the time.
I also had similar problem with Roxio, but I have solved it!!!
Go to
www.roxio.com site and in the support page, give the error message you are getting for Easy Media Creator. You will get the link that will give you the updated driver. Just download the driver and it will work fine. It will not show any incopability.
