Hi All,

 

I recently purchased Dell Desktop computer with XP windows media player. I have set it up in a way that three people can login into three different areas after start up. However, no password is required to log in into each area so far, just testing the new computer.

 

I have came across two problems when you go from one user area to another without logging off from the first user's area.

 

The first problem,  Lets say that when I go from my area while IE is running to my wife's area (i.e. switch user), then I am not able to start IE from her area and I get the following message:

 

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Arror !

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in a unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

 

I thought it should be possible to run IE in two different areas at the same time.

 

The second problem, it is also related to IE (and Netscape browser which I have). Lets say I login to my area after startup, I am able run both browsers without a problem. However, when I login to third user's area after start up and lunch IE or Netscape (keeping in mind they are not running in any other user's area so I wont have the problem mentioned above) I get both browsers up but no display for pictures or images except the text only. I am wondering why these browsers work fine in one area but not in others. Are there options in both browsers that I need to enbale to allow them to run (at the same time or at different time) normal in all users' areas.

 

Help with solving with one or both problems will be very much appretiated and thanks in advance.
