Toolbar at bottom disappears

My main toolbar at bottom of desktop screen (has Start, clock, startup icons, etc) disappears after 30 minutes or so after login.  It's not minimized at bottom of screen.  I'm using XP and Dimension 4600.  Thoughts?

    You can go to kelly's-korner and download the fix for Taskbar is Missing. The next time you lose your taskbar, run the fix.

    Right-click an empty area of the toolbar and select Properties. Click Toolbar tab amd make sure the box "Keep the toolbar on top of other windows" is checked.
