want password

I have an Inspiron 6000. All of a sudden it wants a password to log on. I've never put one in.

Windows XP Media - Got it figured out and am now doing a restore to earlier day in the week. Thanks

Don't know if you can help me with something else. Tried taking it to a coffee shop to use their wireless. It would recognize it, but wouldn't let me log on.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

if you right click on the wireless icon in the right tray and do a repair that should get you on.
