I'm getting a blue screen of death error that points to something called ntoskrnl.exe.

Scanned for spyware/malicious programs, updated all drivers and tried system restore with no luck.  Now I learned my recovery disk is corrupted so I can't reinstall -- suggestions?

BSOD comes after signing -- OS boots without error, but crashes as soon as desktop loads
