Error:VNC:authentication failed:Too many security failures

Error: VNC:authentication failed:Too many security failures

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium and when I try to connect PocketCloud from my iPad to my PC I get the following message: Error:VNC:authentication failed:Too many security failures. Auto Discovery is turned on and the Diagnostic test runs with no failures. Any ideas on how to resolve?

    Please check your start programs menu, you probably have some kind of vnc service installed, Make sure it is running on the bottom tray.
    If you dont have vnc installed, Please install tight vnc on your pc. we can start with this vnc service. Please Make sureloopback connections are checked.

    What VNC Server are you using? If you don't know then see what is listed on your programs menu.

    I don't have any version of VNC Server installed on my PC, shoud I? (I couldn't get RDP to work either - I keep getting a generic failed to connect message)
