XPS 9350 won't boot, shows underscore
Hey
My xps 9350 suddenly won't boot and shows black screen with blinking underscore instead.
Running diagnostics identifies no problems.
I downloaded windows 10 iso and burned it on flash drive and I can't even start windows install... It either goes to blue screen with error 0xc000021a or just keeps on showing underscore.
I thought it might be SSD but replacing it did not help.
I also tried loading Linux that is installed on a USB flash drive, and it works fine and the files from the SSD seem to be perfectly fine. So I guess it's not the SSD or the motherboard. Also wifi seems to work fine so I guess it's not the wlan that is problematic.
Other things I tried:
- removing the battery and pressing power button for 30 seconds
- disabling wlan from bios
- disabling multicore support from bios
- burning the windows 10 iso again on my usb flash drive (in case there was a problem with the installation of windows)
Any more suggestions? What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

Yes there was a problem with windows 10 ISO which is why machine didn't boot from it.
Recreate ISO using RUFUS
If it's created correctly. It will show in F12 under UEFI boot.
Disable secureboot if it doesn't boot successfully to F12.
