To remove the memory module, unlatch the stand from the monitor. Pry the back cover off the machine. Find the IO cover and remove the five screws. Lift the cover off the system. Identify the system-based shield and remove the four screws to lift it out of the system. Find and unlatch the memory module and lift it out of the system.
To reinstall the memory module, re-latch it to the system. Place the system-based shield in the system and tighten the four screws to secure it. Secure the IO cover with the five screws and place the back cover on the device. Re-latch the stand to the monitor. For more information about your Dell system, visit: Dell.com/Support.
