How to Optimize your System using SupportAssist

Learn how to optimize your computer using Dell SupportAssist. This process involves running a full hardware scan, checking for outdated drivers, and installing any necessary updates to improve your system's performance.

Follow these steps to optimize your computer with SupportAssist.

If you're using a laptop, make sure to keep it connected to the charger throughout this process. Click on the Windows start button to search for and open SupportAssist.

In the Home tab, click on "Fully Scan" and then press "Start."

SupportAssist will run a full hardware scan and search for outdated drivers.

If no driver updates are found, simply exit the app.

If any driver updates are found, click on "View Updates" and then "Install."

Wait for SupportAssist to download and install the pending drivers.

A system restart may be required to complete the process.

Click on "Restart Now" when prompted and confirm by clicking "Yes, Restart Now."

After the updates are complete, the system will boot into Windows normally.
