So what do you do when you get a pop-up software error message? You can certainly call text support, but before you do that make sure you write down the error message.
If you want to try to solve it yourself, listen up. Some of the common software problems you run into with new operating systems or new applications when you install something it may not be compatible with another application that's on the system.
So if you experience a software error, such and such application failed to start or this has caused a problem and needs to shut down, there's a lot of safety pieces of that application that's in place such as, Microsoft works really well with that.
They have a lot of alarms and things that it watches fo. in the event there's incompatibility of software. So if you see where you're getting some of these types of errors, the best thing you can do is just stop, think about what it is you just installed, possibly. And this is hardware or software.
And if you installed a new application or a game or something, let's say, and you started getting these errors, then the best thing I can say to do would be to go back uninstall that application, restart your system, and then go and try again what you were doing and see if you still get that same error. Is it happening -- are you getting this with other applications or is it a particular application?
If it's a particular application, you may need to go see if there's some kind of updates for it, a different version or if it's compatible with your operating system and the other software. You can go to manufacturer websites and look for hardware compatibility lists to make sure it meets the minimum requirements.
