To remove the right fan, loosen the two captive screws on the back of the base cover. Remove the seven screws and pry the cover off the system to remove it. Identify the right fan and disconnect the cables. Remove the two screws and lift the fan out of the system.
To reinstall the right fan, place it back in the system. Install the two screws and reconnect the cables. Place the base cover back on the system and secure it with the nine total screws. For more information about your Dell system, visit: Dell.com/Support.
