To remove the solid state drive 2230. Loosen the three captive screws on the back of the base cover. Remove the six other screws and pry the cover off the system.
Find and unplug the battery cable. Identify the solid state drive and remove the screws securing it. Remove the piece of tape and lift the drive out of the system. Flip the drive over. Remove the screw and unlatch the drive.
To reinstall the solid state drive 2230. Reconnect it to the latch with the screw. Flip the drive over and place it back in the system. Reattach the tape and secure the drive with the screw. Plug in the battery cable.
