This video shows how to replace the IDSDM on a PowerEdge T350. Before you begin, power off the system, and disconnect all the attached peripherals. To begin, first remove the system cover. To do this, rotate the lock on top of the system cover to unlock position.
Lift the latch to disengage the cover from the system. Then lift the system cover off. Then by holding the air shroud, lift the air shroud out of the system. To remove the IDSDM, holding the pull tab lift the IDSDM out of the connector on the system board. To replace the IDSDM, align the IDSDM with the slots on the system board and press until firmly seated. Then replace the air shroud, lower the air shroud until it is firmly seated.
Finally, replace the system cover. To do this, first place the cover into its position on the system. Lower the latch to engage the cover into the system.
