In this video we will show you how to restore your computer to factory settings or a previous state using Dell Backup and Recovery The recovery process can be performed from within the operating system, if the system boots.
If on a laptop, make sure the system is plugged in using an AC adapter. Open 'Dell Backup and Recovery' Click the 'Recovery' tile Under the 'Recovery' screen, click 'System Recovery' Under 'System Recovery', click 'Yes, continue' Select your recovery point, then click 'restart' The system will prompt you to confirm you are selecting the correct recovery point.
Once verified, click 'Yes' The system restarts, and begins recovering the hard drive to the point selected. On the system recovery screen, select 'No, replace my personal files' and click 'next' The system will go through the restoring process. Click 'Restart' once done. The system will now restart and boot to the 'Start' screen.
