In this video, we are going to see how to restart HTTP service on a Brocade switch via cli. So when do we do this, when we cannot access a switch via web tools due to some Hung services or when we have this uh switch unbreachable issues uh via management tools like San nav cloud IQ, we try to restart the HTTP service which resolves the issue in most of the scenarios.
So now let's see how we do that. So you need to log into the switch via root credentials. I've already logged in with my root credentials here. Now I'm going to uh type a command which will help us to proceed with the restart of H TT. Is this the command? So it's asking http attributes has to be trained to do it as that. And what are we trying to do here? Http dart, go ahead with this. Ok. So now we have uh done with restart of the HTTP service.
So now how do we know if it is restarted or no? So let's get into error dump and see if it has created any event. So here, if we can see uh where it is listing that we have uh restarted the HTTP service. Ok. So it states http server and web linker process will be restarted due to configuration change. So this particular event confirmed us uh that we uh did the HTTP restart on a Brocade switch via cli
