Here's how to clear stuck paper from your printer. We're using a C2660, but the process is the same for all the models listed. Switch the power off. Remove the paper tray and Multi Purpose Feeder assembly, or MPF. Check for any sheets or scraps of paper.
If you find any, gently remove them. Reinsert the MPF. Check the paper in the tray for damage and discard any torn or creased sheets, then reinsert the tray. then reinsert the tray. Open the printers back door. Be careful removing paper from the fuser area. Always allow the fuser to cool for at least 30 minutes before touching it directly.
To remove the fuser lift the grey lever, then pull on the handles. Lift the blue levers and top cover, then pull the paper through. Push the levers back down and reinsert the fuser. Check the registration rollers for any scraps of paper. Then close the back cover. Check the output bin rollers for paper.
Then switch the printer on. If you're still having trouble, go to dell.com/support. Search for your printer model number and the paper jam error code for more detailed help.
