Installationsanweisungen
Instructions for GSA-T11N_A03.zip Download 1. Click the Download File link to download the file. 2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive. Extract Files 1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package. 2. Specify the location to unzip the files. 3. Click on the unzip button to extract files. Windows based firmware flash utility update for HLDS GSA-T11N slim 8x DVD+/-RW ULD:- 1. Download and unzip GSA-T11N_A03.zip into your desktop or folder of choice. 2. In “GSA-T11N_A03” folder, please search for the “windows” folder. 3. In “windows” folder, please make suren you have the administrator right, and double click on “GSA-T11N_A104.exe”. 4. If a message box appears with the warning that ""The drive will be updated to same or older version"" then you do not need to apply this update. Otherwise, continue the update process by reading the instructionsbelow. 5. Refer to the drop-down list below the statement ""The Following drive will be updated"".Ensure that the HLDS GSA-T11N and its associated drive letter appears in the drop-down list. If the drop down-list is empty and the statement ""Can't find target drive"" then please ensure the GSA-T11N is inserted properly. 6. Click the red ""UPDATE"" button and wait for the FW update to finish. 7. Windows must restart to complete this operation, please save all work and close all applications prior to restarting Windows. Click on “Restart Windows”. DOS based firmware flash utility update for HLDS GSA-T11N slim 8x DVD+/-RW ULD:- 1. Unzip the GSA-T11N_A03.zip into your USB key or location of choice. 2. In “GSA-T11N_A03” folder, please search for the “DOS” folder. 3. Copy the ""DOS"" directory to a bootable floppy disk or USB flash disk. 4. Use this Bootable floppy or flash disk to reboot your system into DOS. 5. Change directory to the ""DOS"" directory you copied ealier. Type “dos_A104.BAT”. DO NOT execute ""supdos.exe"". 6. The Firmware update utility will execute and cause the drive to eject. This is an expected behaviour. Please remove any disc you may have in the drive before closing the drive and continuing with the update. 7. Type ""Y"" to continue the update. 8. Upon successful completion of the update, a ""OK"" symbol will be displayed on the screen. 9. Kindly reboot your system.
