1. iDRAC firmware boot can not be interrupted in uboot unless the manufacturing mode
jumper is installed.
2. To avoid the "Login Failure" error when launching Virtual Media, make sure to clear
the WebStart cache so that the new viewer is downloaded. To do so, run javaws viewer
from a DOS prompt and then select and clear out all the WebStart applications in the cache.
3. For viewing the Dell signed certificate instead of the Avocent signed one:
a. Uncheck "Preserve Configuration" option while updating the firmware via GUI.
b. Clear the client java cache using the command "javaws -viewer".
4. In order to meet the factory requirements, after updating firmware using DOS
utility, it will wait for 90 seconds before returning to command prompt.
Download

Installation
