Microsoft SFU Expiry Check, v. Q327314, A00

AUTO INSTALLED This file was automatically installed as part of a recent update. If you are experiencing any issues, you can manually download and reinstall.
Dell PowerVault 750N, 755N, 775N NAS Systems SFU Expiry Check Hotfix.

750N and 755N systems that have the SFU v2.2 performance QFE Q320175
installed and 775N systems that have been reinstalled using the 775N
Reinstallation CD will be affected.

The release of Microsoft® Services for UNIX® (SFU) v2.2 performance QFE
that is included on the Dell PowerVault 775N Reinstallation CD, which is
provided with your system, contains an expiry check that disables the SFU
after August 1, 2002.

NOTE: The SFU that was preinstalled on your 775N NAS system when you
received it from Dell does not experience this problem. You do not need
to apply the Microsoft hotfix unless you use the 775N Reinstallation CD.

Symptoms of Expired Services for UNIX:

When the user attempts to use any SFU component on the NAS system, the
NAS system displays the following message:

"Windows Services for Unix License invalid.
Contact your system administrator"

If you must install the 775N NAS system using the 775N Reinstallation CD,
you must
download the
Microsoft hotfix Q327314 from support.dell.com and install it on your NAS
system after
the reinstallation process on the system is complete.
