Fixes & Enhancements
Deprecates the use of the ALSA project to provide audio support. Will work with all 2.4-based kernels greater than 2.4.21, including Red Hat Entperprise Linux 3 and Fedora Core 1.
Fixes an issue on Fedora Core 1 where the module would not build correctly.

Download
1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.

3. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Log in as the root user
2. At a command prompt, type "tar xzvf i810_audio-2.4.21p-4.tar.gz" to extract the files from the compressed archive
3. Check to see if the dell-alsa-driver RPM is installed on your system by typing "rpm -q dell-alsa-driver" at a command prompt. If this returns the RPM name and version, remove that RPM by typing "rpm -e dell-alsa-driver" at a command prompt.
4. At a command prompt, type "cd i810_audio-2.4.21p-4"
5. Download the latest dkms RPM from support.dell.com, or install the one from the archive by typing "rpm -Uvh dkms-1.10-1.noarch.rpm". If you receive a message that a newer dkms is installed on your system already, proceed to the next step
6. At a command prompt, type "rpm -Uvh i810_audio-2.4.21p-4dkms.noarch.rpm " to install the i810_audio device driver.
