Note: Rufus is not a Dell certified software. Dell does not support issues regarding this software.
1. Download Rufus from https://rufus.ie. Rufus is a stand-alone program and does not require installation.
2. Connect an empty USB drive and open the Rufus program.
3. Select Device as the connected USB drive.
4. Choose Disk or ISO image from the drop-down list under Boot selection.
5. Click SELECT and browse to the RHEL ISO image file.
6. To ensure that the USB drive is compatible with UEFI, select FAT32 as the File System.
7. To create the USB drive with the Press any key to boot from USB prompt, select the Create extended label and icon files option under advance format options.
8. Click Start. The RHEL ISO image file starts copying to the USB drive. This process can take several minutes.
9. After the ISO image is successfully copied, close the program and remove the USB drive.
To check whether the bootable USB drive with the RHEL ISO image is successfully created, plug in the USB drive and use the following command:
#lsblk
Following are the steps to install the graphics driver after you have downloaded your driver package:
Note: The following steps use XYZ_package.zip for the file name as an example. Use the name of the downloaded file instead.
1. Mount the device to /media mount point as yum repository using the following command:
#mount /dev/sdb1 /media/
2. Copy the driver to your specific directory using the following command:
#cp /media/XYZ_package.zip /opt/
3. Extract the driver source using the following commands:
#cd /opt/
#unzip -x XYZ_package.zip
4. To install the graphics driver, run the installation script using the following commands:
#cd XYZ_package/
#chmod 777./amdgpu-driver-install.sh
#sudo ./amdgpu-driver-install.sh
