Ensure that the Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) is enabled in the BIOS for fingerprint reader to function. Once the Intel SGX is enabled in the BIOS, Intel SGX platform software is installed through Windows Update automatically. Once the installation is complete, you can see the Intel Software Guard Extensions platform software in Programs and Features under Programs in Control Panel.
