Installing the LSI Logic Driver during a fresh Windows NT Installation
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Ensure your Windows NT CD is inserted into the CD-ROM drive.

2. Start your system. Immediately press and release the F6 key when you
see the following message:

"Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration..."
If you do not see this message, your system may not be setup to boot from
CD-ROM. This change can be made within System Setup by rebooting and
pressing F2.

3. When prompted, press S to specify an additional device.

4. Press Enter to select Others; insert the LSI Logic Ultra320 SCSI
Driver for Windows NT diskette in your floppy drive.

5. Use the arrow keys to highlight "LSI Logic Ultra320 SCSI Adapter",
then press Enter.

6. To add other host adapters that are not part of the Ultra320 Family,
press S and repeat from Step 4 for each additional adapter and insert the
appropriate driver disk.

7. Press Enter to continue with the Windows NT operating system setup.
Follow the instructions onscreen and in the Windows NT documentation to
complete the installation.


Updating the LSI Logic Driver from within Windows NT
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. From Control Panel click on the 'SCSI Adapters'and then choose
the 'Drivers'tab.

2. Click on the 'Add' button, click 'Have Disk' install the SCSI driver
diskette in drive A:\ and click 'OK'.

3. From the next screen click on "LSI Logic SCSI/FC Miniport Driver" from
the list and then the 'OK' button.

4. Click 'Yes' to restart the system.
