Important Information
If a system has more than 4GB of memory installed, the configuration data display for the memory module will not report the memory size properly.

Custom Instructions for CDD1256.exe:
Diskette creation using CDD1256.exe
Download file CDD1256.EXE to a new folder on your system.
1. Click the "Download now" link.
2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, please read the agreement, and then click Yes, I Accept this Agreement.
3. When the File Download window appears, click Save this program to disk and click OK.
4. The Save As window appears.
5. From the Save In drop-down menu, click to select one of your hard drive partitions.
6. Click on the Create New Folder icon.
7. Rename the new folder as DD1256, and press Enter.
8. Click on the Open button in the Save As window.
9. Click the Save button to save file CDD1256.exe in the new folder DD1256.
10. The file will download to this folder.
11. If a Download Complete window appears, click Close.
Diskette Creation
1. From My Computer, or Explorer select the folder DD1256 and double-click the icon for CDD1256.
2. An MS-DOS window appears with a message indicating the options available.
3. Use option 1 to create bootable diskettes.
3. Press the [1] key. A message appears prompting you to insert a blank diskette. Insert a diskette into the drive.
4. Press the [ENTER] key. A message appears indicating how many diskettes will be needed.
5. The files are copied to the diskette. Once the files have been copied to the diskette a message appears prompting you to insert the next diskette.
6. Repeat steps 4 - 5 until you reach the end of the diskette set. Label each diskette with a disk number starting from 1.
7. After all the files have been copied to the last diskette, press the [ENTER] key and the MS-DOS window closes.
Running the Diagnostics
1. Insert the first diskette of the set into your diskette drive.
2. Click Start, click Shutdown, click Restart, and then click OK to reboot your system.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

1. Click the location, e.g. Americas, from which you want to download the file.
2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click Yes, I Accept this Agreement.
3. When the File Download window appears, click Save this program to disk and click OK. The Save In window appears.
4. From the Save In drop-down menu, click to select Desktop and then click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
5. If a Download Complete window appears, click Close. A new icon appears on your desktop.

1. Double-click the new icon on the desktop. The Self-Extractor window appears.
2. Click Setup. An MS-DOS window appears with a message indicating how many diskettes you will need.
3. Press the [ENTER] key. A message appears prompting you to insert a blank diskette. Insert a diskette into the drive.
4. Press the [ENTER] key. A message appears indicating that all data on the disk will be erased.
5. Press the [y] key and then press the [ENTER] key. The files are copied to the diskette. Once the files have been copied to the diskette a message appears prompting you to insert the next diskette.
6. Repeat steps 3 - 5 until you reach the end of the diskette set. Label each diskette with a disk number starting from 1.
7. After all the files have been copied to the last diskette, press the [ENTER] key and the MS-DOS window closes.
