Installation instructions
Download and extract the files from the zip, then follow the instructions of the Readme.txt within.

Running the Storcli tool:

For UEFI: run the storcli.efi from the UEFI shell
For windows 32 bit: use storcli.exe from a command prompt that is opened
using "run as administrator" option.
For windows 64 bit: use storcli64.exe from a command prompt that is opened
using "run as administrator" option.

Updating the FW:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For UEFI, use the following command from UEFI shell and reboot after the command completion
- storcli.efi /c0 download file = 9441-8i_nopad.rom
For Windows, Use the following command from command prompt that administrator
privileges and reboot after the command completion:
- storcli.exe /c0 download file = 9441-8i_nopad.rom (or)
- storcli64.exe /c0 download file = 9441-8i_nopad.rom
NOTE:
- If you have more than one controllers in your system, repeat this step but
update /c0 to /c1, /c2 and so on.
- File name 9441-8i_nopad.rom is intentional and it is a correct file for 9440-8i RAID controllers.

Enabling NVME profile
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To change the card to NVMe profile, use the following command:
- UEFI: storcli.efi /c0 set profile profileid=11
- Winx86: storcli.exe /c0 set profile profileid=11
- Winx64: storcli64.exe /c0 set profile profileid=11
To change it back to SAS/SATA profile, use the following command:
- UEFI: storcli.efi /c0 set profile profileid=10
- Winx86: storcli.exe /c0 set profile profileid=10
- Winx64: storcli64.exe /c0 set profile profileid=10
To check the current profile:
- UEFI: storcli.efi /c0 show profile
- Winx86: storcli.exe /c0 show profile
- Winx64: storcli64.exe /c0 show profile
NOTE: With this release, either NVMe or SAS/SATA profile can be used at a
time. Both can not be used simultaneously.
