Fixes & Enhancements
A04 is to restore Tablet Dock II (gray-colored tablet support bracket) to initial factory firmware, automatically sets the power management state and display configuration to support the update software.
NOTE: A04 is not required for the Tablet Dock I (black-colored tablet support bracket).

This firmware update is intended only for Dell Tablet Dock II (gray-colored tablet support bracket) used with Dell Venue 11 Pro 7130, 7139, 7140 tablets and Latitude 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 notebook. If your configuration does not include a Dell Tablet Dock II, this update is not necessary.
Before updating the Dell Tablet Dock II firmware, ensure the Tablet and Dock II are configured properly:
- An external monitor(s) must be on and connected to the Dell Tablet Dock (HDMI and/or DisplayPort)
- The Dell Tablet Dock power adapter must remain connected to the Dock and plugged into A/C during the update process.
- The Tablet must remain docked in the Dell Tablet Dock II during the update process.
- Do not Shut Down or put the Tablet in Sleep mode during the update process (Make sure the System Sleep & Monitor Timeout set to 10 minutes or greater).
NOTE: If the above conditions are not met during the firmware update process, the firmware update will fail or not complete.
NOTE: Do not attempt to update the Tablet Dock II via remote download/execution.

Installation instructions
NOTE: Do not attempt to update Tablet Dock firmware via remote download/execution.
Download
1. Click "Download File" to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click "Save this program to disk" and click "OK". The "Save In" window appears.
3. From the "Save In" field, click the down arrow and then click to select Desktop and click "Save". The file will download to your desktop.
4. When the "Download Complete" window appears, click "Close". The file icon will appear on your desktop.
Prepare for update
- External monitor(s) must be on and connected to the Dell Tablet Dock II (HDMI and/or DisplayPort).
- The Tablet display must be set in PC screen only mode.
- Dell Tablet Dock power adapter must remain connected to the dock and plugged into A/C power during the update process.
- The Tablet must remain docked in the Dell Tablet Dock II during the update process.
- Do not Shut Down or put the Tablet in Sleep mode during the update process (Make sure System Sleepand Display Timeout are set to 10 minutes or greater).
NOTE: If the above conditions are not met during the firmware update process, the firmware update will fail or not complete.
Install
1. Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled "Dell_Tablet_Dock_Update_Tool_2JKFM_A04_ZPE.exe". If the User Account Control windows appears, click "Yes" to continue.
2. Package details window comes up, click "Continue".
3. Click "Ok" to unzip folder, then click "Ok" when unzip is complete.
4. Browser window with set up instructions will come up. Set up the Tablet, Dock II and display according to the instructions. Click "Install Now" button.
5. Click "Update" on the firmware update tool to begin the update process.
- If the update too indicates a set up error, correct it and press "Retry".
A bar will show the update progress. The update takes approximately 2 minutes to complete.
6. When complete, the update tool displays "Update Process Successful!". Click the "Done" button to exit theupdate tool.
Unplug the power connector from the Dell Tabelt Dock II for 15 seconds, then plug the power connector back into the Dell Tablet Dock II for the update to be complete.
