Consumer QuickSet 9.6 provides the following features
EASY ACCESS: all functions can be accessed from the Mobility Center
POWER: battery resource information and health, Extended Battery Life, warning messages unsupported power-adapter/dock/battery scenarios are detected.
DISPLAY SWITCH: display on-screen display when Fn1 or Fn+F1 (or Fn+F8) or display switch key is pressed. For some platforms, this function will be replaced by the native on-screen display provided by Windows 7.
ON-SCREEN DISPLAY: volume state, brightness state, radio state, Caps Lock (if no LED available), Num Lock (if no LED available)
WI-FI CATCHER: search available access points in the neighborhood (if WiFi Catcher is available)
BATTERY CHARGING DISABLE: disable batterh charging while in the airplane (open Battery Meter to control this function)
Fn KEY BEHAVIOR SWAP: change the Fn key behavior between multimedia mode and normal mode
