Do not power off your system during Application upgrade or installation.
Installation Procedure
Wyse Management Suite (WMS)
1. Register the device to WMS server, and add to the respective add-on group.
2. Copy .exe file to the WMS server repository.
3. Log in to the WMS server.
4. Go to Portal Administration>File Repository.
5. Check the File Repository and click Sync Files.
6. Go to Apps & Data>App Inventory>Thin Client, and verify that the files are listed in the Thin Client.
7. Go to Apps & Data>App Policies >Thin Client>Add Policy.
8. Configure the options and provide silent installation parameter --silent.
9. Click Save and then click Yes to schedule a job immediately.
10. Go to App Policy Job and update the description.
11. Click Run Immediately and then click Preview.
12. Click Schedule.
Wyse Device Manager (WDM)- For Wyse 7040 thin clients only
1. Copy .exe file to the WDM server.
2. Log in to the WDM server.
3. Go to Applications>Other Packages, and click the Create Package Plus (+) button.
4. Download and save the package.
5. Click Run.
6. Select the .exe file and browse the add-on file.
7. Enter the silent installation parameter --silent.
8. Select the operating system.
9. Click Upload.
10. After registration log in to WDM again.
11. Schedule the package to the target client.
