Download this file to a temporary directory on your working system.

If you are downloading this using a Microsoft Windows system:
- save the file onto a formatted 3 1/2 inche floppy
- take the floppy out and insert it into a Linux system floppy drive
- In your Linux system, login as root and do the following to copy it to /tmp:
mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
cp /mnt/floppy/aic7xxx-6.2.8.tar.gz /tmp
umount /mnt/floppy

If your are downloading this to your Linux system, save it onto a
temporary directory (Eg. /tmp)

To extract the files, login as root and do the following from the command line:
Change directory to where you saved the file:
cd /tmp
tar xvzf aic7xxx-6.2.8.tar.gz
