Installation instructions
1. Click Download File, to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save or Save this program to disk and click OK. The Save In: window appears.
3. From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4. If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file icon appears on your desktop.
5. Right-Click on the file icon and select "Extract all" from the menu.
6. Click on the "Show extracted files when complete" radio button, then click on Extract.
7. Allow to complete and a new window will open.
8. Before updating the card, make sure you don't have any other applications or documents open. The utility will reboot the system automatically right after the VBIOS update is complete without giving you enough time to close any applications.
9. Once you are ready to update the card, double-click on the P5000_vBIOS_Firmware_Update.exe file to update the Quadro P5000 Graphics card Firmware. The screen may go blank or off for a few seconds while it detects your card. Once it confirms the video BIOS is for the card you have installed, it will show you that it matches your card and give you the option to "confirm" the update by pressing "y", skip the update by pressing "s", or abort the update by pressing "a". Select a choice when you are ready.
10. After completing and updating the Firmware, it will show you a message stating the update is done and the utility will automatically reboot the system to allow the update to take effect.
