Fixes & Enhancements

This Firmware resolves two separate issues:
1) While using Win2K's CDPlayer in analog mode noise is encountered when
the user implements the following key sequences while track is playing:

PAUSE->NEXT TRACK or PREVIOUS TRACK->PLAY
OR
STOP->PAUSE (repeated rapidly)->PLAY

2) While attempting to copy certain (Not All) Video CDs using Adaptec's
CDCopier the copy process appears to complete successfully but when the
user tries to play the disc it will not play. The *.dat file in the
MPEGAV folder is not accessible.

Installation instructions

1. Download the file from the Dell website to your hard drive. It is
recommended you download it to your desktop for easy access.
2. Place a known good formatted floppy disk in your floppy disk drive.
2. Double-click on the file you just downloaded.
3. Follow the on screen instructions. The program will create a bootable
floppy disk
4. Place the floppy disk you just created in the floppy disk drive.
5. Reboot the computer. When the computer reboots it will automatically
flash the firmware.
*** Make sure that there are no power interruptions during the flash
process***
