Restart required Installed This file was automatically installed as part of a recent update. If you are experiencing any issues, you can manually download and reinstall.Both Dell Networking N2000 and N3000 Series switches share the same firmware image file (N3000_N2000v6.3.2.3.stk). If your N2000 series switch has an earlier version of firmware (6.0.0.7 or 6.0.0.8 or 6.0.1.3), upgrade your switch to the latest version of firmware 6.3.2.3 as it contains multiple bug fixes.
New CPLD version 15 is available in this release for both N3000 and N2000 Series switches. After upgrading the switches to FW version 6.3.2.3, the CPLD can be updated to version 15 from CLI using the command - update cpld. To update CPLD on stack members, run - 'devshell cpldUpdate' command from serial console. Please DO NOT power-cycle the switch when CPLD update is in progress. After CPLD update is complete, it's required to do manual switch power-cycle. Verify CPLD Version with the command - 'show version' from CLI after power-cycle.
****Below information is applicable ONLY for N2000/N3000 switches upgraded to 6.3.2.3 and CPLD Version 15 and attempt to downgrade to any prior FW version****
Downgrading N3000 and N2000 Series switches from firmware version 6.3.2.3 with the updated CPLD version 15 (Verify CPLD Version with the command “show version” from CLI) to any prior 6.x.x.x version can ONLY be done by downgrading via interim FW version B.6.3.2 (N3000_N2000vB.6.3.2.stk) attached to zip file.
With interim FW image version B.6.3.2 running, the switches should be downgraded to CPLD version 13 first before downgrading to any 6.x.x.x version. Please follow the instructions documented in the “Firmware Downgrade” section of Upgrading Dell Networking N3000_N2000 Series Switches From Version 6.x.x.x to 6.3.2.3 Firmware procedure.

Disabled weak ciphers (arcfour, arcfour128, arcfour256, aes256-cbc,aes192-cbc,aes128-cbc,twofish-cbc,blowfish-cbc,3des-cbc) to avoid security vulnerabilities in firmware version 6.3.2.3 and later. So our customers are required to use the latest SSH client (terminal emulators) which supports CTR ciphers: aes128-ctr, aes192-ctr, aes256-ctr, chacha20-poly1305.

(2) Extract the image file "N3000_N2000v6.3.2.3.stk" from the zip file
(3) Install the image to the switch by following the upgrade procedure "Upgrading Dell Networking N3000_N2000 Series Switches From Version 6.x.x.x to 6.3.2.3 Firmware.pdf" extracted from zip file.
(2) Extract the image file "N3000_N2000v6.3.2.3.stk" from the zip file
