Firmware for LSI 9361-8I controller

The firmware upgrade may fail if the RAID controller in the system is performing an I/O background task (that is, consistency check, background initialization, rebuild, or reconstruction). Allow the background task to complete before attempting to upgrade the firmware. Patrol Read tasks will not affect a firmware upgrade.

Download
1. Click the Download Now link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window is displayed, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.

Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package.
2. Click Continue.
3. Specify the location to unzip the files.
4. Click OK to unzip files. After the files are unzipped, the message all files were successfully unzipped is displayed.
5. Click OK to exit from the installer.

Installation
1. Copy unzipped files to media accessible to Windows.
2. Go to the folder where you have unzipped files.
3. Follow the Readme.txt file and execute the commands as specified.
4. Reboot the system for changes to take effect.
