This Patch also includes the following testfixes:

T1A5120 - Backup job hangs on a distributed server in a SAN with error "Unable to connect to Tape Engine, EC=1722". The Tape Engine service also shuts down on the primary server.

T16C249 - For GFS job using RAID1, a Dr. Watson
will occur when the job spans. This will happen if the first RAID set had one tape (i.e. another tape was off site) and the second RAID set had two
tapes.

This enhancement will allow the GFS job to
coorperate with Raid1 when one tape is exported
from each raid set daily. If only one tape in a
raid set is detected from the scratch set, the tape in the library will be erased and a blank raid set will be used for the backup.

To enable this enhancement, add the DWORD value
"RaidForceToUseBlankSet" in registry under the
following key:

SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\ARCserveIT\Base\Tapeengine\CONFIG

Set the Value Data to 1.

T16C259 - In a SAN environment, a backup job
(Custom schedule 4 days per week) from a
distributed server randomly fails because a valid
tape can not be found. The problem was caused by
newly imported tapes not being inserted into the
database of the distributed server.

T16C260 - The SNMP service Dr. Watson's when the
handle count of the SNMP process increases to a max of 640000. The handles reference "
SOFTWARE\Computer Associates\ARCserveIT\Base\SNMP".
