This patch updates the NAS Manager on Dell™ PowerVault™ 77xN systems to fix an issue by allowing full access to disk and volume management software. In previous versions of the NAS Manager the Disks and Volumes pages contained a simplified web based disk and volume management interface. In order to run more complex functions Administrators were required to launch a Remote Desktop session or log into the system locally. The updated NAS Manager now launches a remote desktop session from the Disks and Volumes pages and opens the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Computer Management snap-in from where access to Microsoft® Windows® Disk Management and Dell™ OpenManage™ Array Manager are available.
