Format Description:
This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then run (double-click) it to unzip the set of files. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
Download the file to a location on your hard drive. Dell recommends the Windows desktop. After the download is complete, disconnect the call with Dial Up Networking. From the Windows Desktop execute R39996.exe by double clicking on it. The executable file will extract a series files to a location on the hard drive. "C:\dell\drivers\39996". From there, the executable will automatically start the setup program to install the new driver. Follow the driver's installation instruction to complete the install process. After the driver is installed the files in C:\dell\drivers\39996 can be removed. The R39996.exe can also be deleted from the desktop or moved to another location for safe keeping.
