Download the file to a location on your hard drive.
Dell recommends the Windows desktop. After the download is complete,
disconnect the call with Dial Up Networking. From the Windows Desktop
execute R43106.exe by double clicking on it.
The executable file will extract a series files to a location on the hard
drive. "C:\dell\drivers\43106". From there, the executable will
automatically start the setup program to install the new driver. Follow
the driver's installation instruction to complete the install process.

Important: The system must be restarted after the driver is installed
before the modem will function properly.

After the driver is installed the files in C:\dell\drivers\43106 can be
removed. The R43106.exe can also be deleted from the desktop or moved to
another location for safe keeping.

To use the silent / unattended install option:

Use an extraction utility such as Winzip to extract the files from
R43106.exe to a temporary directory on the hard disk. Use the start menu
run option and type in the drive letter and path where the files where
stored along with setup -s for example, "C:\temp\setup -s".
The user will not be required to prvoide input to the install process.
Two status boxes showing the driver has been installed will appear but
will close automatically.
If the files are burnt onto a CDROM to install the install.exe command
must be used.
