1) Driver supports SVideo + VGA in clone mode and extended desktop
2) Driver supports 1280x768 wide-aspect LCD monitor resolution
3) Driver supports 1680x1050 wide-aspect LCD monitor resolution

Fixes for potential customer situations since 2.072:
----------------------------------------------------
1) Battlefield Vietnam: improved playability, fixed garbage lines, fixed certain situations that showed smoke or dust that looked like cloud of black ink.
2) Fixed Far Cry game BSOD halfway through game.
3) Fixed AVI file playback in clone mode flashing 6 times before playing.
4) Fixed 3D screen saver flying object with object set to splash that had white water drop regardless of pool color.
5) Fixed situation when LCD was set to clone mode 1280x1024, rotated, hibernated and resumed, the resolution changed to 768x1024.
6) Fixed extended desktop situation when after closing lid to standby and resuming by re-opening LCD, icons or folders on extended desktop moved to primary from secondary.
7) Fixed situation where hot plug CRT, close LCD lid to go to standby, resume then use Fn-F8 hotkey to switch devices did not work.
8) Fixed incorrect line color in Age of Mythology game.
9) Fixed situation when playing avi file in full screen under certain modes, there is a diagonal line.

Hard Drive Installation (via WinZip) with Setup.exe File for R83224.EXE

Download

1.Click Download Now, to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save (Windows XP
users will click Save) this program to disk and click OK. The Save In:
window appears.
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
icon appears on your desktop.

Install

1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R83224.EXE.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\r83224. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\r83224 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
