Driver Package
The driver package is a compressed tar file.
1) To extract the components within the tar file, un-tar the files:
tar -xvzf R245255-mpt2sasbtm-02.15.00.00-2.tar.gz
2) Extracted files should contain the following:
dkms rpm dkms-2.0.21.1-1.noarch.rpm
driver rpm mpt2sasbtm-02.15.00.00-2dkms.noarch.rpm

Adding or Updating the Driver on a System.
1) Install the DKMS rpm package if needed. Use this command:
2) rpm -ivhdkms-2.0.21.1-1.noarch.rpm NOTE: Use rpm -Uvh dkms-2.0.21.1-1.noarch.rpm when updating an existing package.
3) Install the Driver package. Use this command
4) rpm -Uvh mpt2sasbtm-02.15.00.00-2dkms.noarch.rpm
5) Verify the driver has been loaded with thissystem command:
modinfo megaraid_sas
and this dkms command:
dkms status

Reboot will be required
