Known Issues
============
- Devices based on the Intel(R) Ethernet I350 controller do not support the LLDP Discovery feature
with Dell iDRAC.
- Received packets with incorrect length can generate alarms in VMware ESXi 7.0U2 and later.
These alarms can be ignored. Please reference this VMware KB article for more details:
https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/83627. {229496, 232005}
- Known limitation with Intel(R) X550 adapters: Downgrading firmware from the host operating system is not supported.
Please use iDRAC to perform the downgrade. {343113}
- When running the Dell firmware update package (DUP) from a Linux OS, a message may appear requesting a power cycle. This
message can be safely ignored, as a power cycle is not required. {346725}
- Applying a firmware update to Intel(R) I350 OCP NICs may cause link loss on ports shared with iDRAC. To avoid disruption,
migrate the shared connection to another NIC before proceeding with the update. {311515}
