u-blox GNSS Communication Driver

After installing this package, ensure to complete the following steps:

1. Disable Power Management of the u-blox Universal GNSS device in the Device Manager.
a. Open the u-blox Universal GNSS in the Device Manager.
b. Under Properties, disable the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option.
c. After using the GPS COM port, Enable the power saving mode to improve battery performance under Modern Standby.

2. Set up the correct COM Port in the application you want to use.
a. Open the USB Serial port in the Device Manager.
b. Under Properties, see the COM Port Hardware ID for the GPS COM port FTDIBUS\COMPORT&VID_0403&PID_6015.
c. Select the same COM Port number as displayed in the application.

3. For Dell Latitude 5430 and 7330 Rugged Extreme systems, set the baud rate to 38400 on the GPS Setup page in the Dell Rugged Control Center.

Download
1. Click Download File.
2. When the File Download window is displayed, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.

Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Read the information in the dialog window.
3. Download and install any prerequisites that are identified in the dialog window before proceeding.
4. Click the Install button.
5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.
