Upgrade ThinOS 10 firmware through Wyse Management Suite:
Notes: If the upgrade fails with event log stating Failed to install, ensure to reboot the device and upgrade again.
Prerequisites - Ensure that you are running ThinOS 10 2502_10.0043 or ThinOS 10 2502_10.0045 or 2502_10.0052 or ThinOS 10 2502_10.0058 or ThinOS 10 2502_10.0060 or ThinOS10 2505_10.0076 on your thin client. - Create a group in Wyse Management Suite with a group token. - The thin client must be registered to Wyse Management Suite. - Download the RootOS_2505_10.0094_T10.pkg firmware to upgrade.
Steps 1. Go to the Groups & Configs page and select a group. 2. From the Edit Policies drop-down menu, click ThinOS 10.x. The Configuration Control | ThinOS window is displayed. 3. In the left pane, click Standard. 4. From the Standard menu, expand Firmware, and click OS Firmware Updates. NOTE: If you cannot locate the Firmware option under the Standard tab, use the Advanced tab. 5. Click Browse and select the ThinOS firmware to upload. 6. From the Select the ThinOS Firmware to deploy drop-down menu, select the uploaded firmware. 7. Click Save & Publish. The thin client downloads the firmware to install and restarts. The firmware version is upgraded.
