Download and Extract
1. Click Download to download the file.
2. When the File Download window is displayed, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
3. Extract the file from the .zip.
4. Follow the instructions in the Readme.txt within the .zip file.

Installation

UEFI
1. Run the storcli.efi from the UEFI shell.
2. To update, use the following command in the UEFI shell and reboot the system after completion:
storcli.efi /c0 download file = 9460-16i_nopad.rom
3. Repeat the step if you have more than one controller in your system by updating /c0 to /c1, and so on.

Windows 32-bit and 64-bit
1. Open an elevated command prompt window by using the Run as administrator option.
2. For 32-bit systems, run the storcli.exe and for 64-bit systems, run storcli64.exe.
3. To update, run the following command and reboot the system after completion:
For Windows 32-bit - storcli.exe /c0 download file = 9460-16i_nopad.rom
For Windows 64-bit - storcli64.exe /c0 download file = 9460-16i_nopad.rom
4. Repeat the step if you have more than one controller in your system by updating /c0 to /c1, /c2, and so on.

Enabling the NVMe profile

Note: ProfileID=11 is used only NVMe and ProfileID=13 is used for Mixed mode to use SAS/SATA and NVMe simultaneously.

UEFI
1. Run the following command to change the card to NVMe profile:
storcli.efi /c0 set ProfileID=11
2. Run the following command to change the card back to SAS/SATA profile:
storcli.efi /c0 set ProfileID=10
3. Run the following command to check the profile:
storcli.efi /c0 show profile

Windows 32-bit
1. Run the following command to change the card to NVMe profile:
storcli.exe /c0 set ProfileID=11
2. Run the following command to change the card back to SAS/SATA profile:
storcli.exe /c0 set ProfileID=10
3. Run the following command to check the profile:
storcli.exe /c0 show profile

Windows 64-bit
1. Run the following command to change the card to NVMe profile:
storcli64.exe /c0 set ProfileID=11
2. Run the following command to change the card back to SAS/SATA profile:
storcli64.exe /c0 set ProfileID=10
3. Run the following command to check the profile:
storcli64.exe /c0 show profile
