Fixes & Enhancements
- Firmware updates to address security vulnerabilities.
Important Information
- Once the BIOS is upgraded, you cannot downgrade the BIOS EXE/Recovery (RCV) to versions earlier than 1.14.0. BIOS downgrades are restricted when there are security updates and important fixes with earlier versions that impact the functionality of the system.
- If you update the BIOS from version 1.6.1 or earlier, the BIOS update automatically takes place twice for adding the BIOSConnect feature. The second update happens after the system restarts.
- BIOS updates take no more than 5 minutes to be installed on your system. You can install the updates in the background while using the system.
